Ping-Hua Tsai (PSquare Media Lab)

The work amplifies the process of merging virtual and real — the moment of a human consciousness uploading into digital space. In collaboration with the Taiwan Non-Visual Aesthetics Education Association, it creates a hybrid physical space where computers can precisely track the viewer's position. When visual perception has been stripped away, can one still recognize the space through wind, sound, vibration, and touch? Viewers listen, move, touch objects, and feel vibrations to perceive the space — experiencing media art through non-visual senses. The narrative text extends from the 2017 cross-disciplinary performance CyberCube, depicting the stage when human consciousness has already merged into digital space — meaning one can perceive all virtual objects within it.
