Chin-Hsiang Hu is a media artist and the founder of Peppercorns Interactive Media Art. In the post-natural landscape of the Anthropocene, he transforms media technology from a carrier of information into a probe for perception — using light, data, and algorithms to portray memory, sensation, and the connections between people.

He is recognized for integrating concept, team, and technology into large-scale international projects, and for developing a unique creative language that combines spatial composition, sound, and cross-media visuals to construct narrative-driven digital experiences.

His work has received the SIGGRAPH Asia Best XR Technology Award and Audience Choice Award (2019), two National Art Exhibition Gold Prizes in New Media (2016, 2021), the Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, Golden Pin Design Award, the Lumen Prize shortlist, MUSE Design Awards, and the Arte Laguna Prize (Italy). In 2013, he was awarded an international residency at V2_ Institute for the Unstable Media (Netherlands).

Since founding Peppercorns Interactive Media Art in 2016, he has led the team in executing large-scale art festivals, public art commissions, and international exhibitions. In 2025, the team presented on Signal Festival's main stage in Prague (the first Taiwanese team) and at RADAR Festival in Bucharest (the first Asian media art collective); in 2026, works were selected for i Light Singapore and Taoyuan Land Art Festival, further extending the studio's international reach.

His creative practice navigates the intersections of technology and emotion, data and body, virtual and space — constructing immersive, narrative-driven, and humanistically warm tech-art experiences. Rather than opposing technology, his work explores what it means to be human in coexistence with it: rediscovering the capacity to feel, and affirming that human emotion, memory, and warmth are irreplaceable.

胡縉祥，媒體藝術家，黑川互動媒體藝術創辦人。在人類世的後自然景觀中，將媒體科技從資訊的載體，轉為感知的探針，以光、數據與演算法，描繪記憶、感受和人與人之間的連結。

他善於將概念、團隊與技術整合至大型國際專案中，並發展出結合空間構成、聲音與跨媒體視覺的獨特創作語言，建構具敘事性的數位體驗。

作品參與 SIGGRAPH Asia 最佳 XR 技術獎暨觀眾票選獎（2019）、全國美展新媒體藝術金牌獎兩度（2016、2021）、紅點設計獎、Good Design Award、金點設計獎、英國流明獎入圍、MUSE 設計獎，以及義大利 Arte Laguna Prize。2013 年獲荷蘭 V2_ 媒體研究院國際駐村。

2016 年創立黑川互動媒體藝術，帶領團隊執行大型藝術節、公共藝術委託及國際展覽。2025 年登上捷克布拉格 Signal Festival 主舞台（首個台灣團隊），並受邀布加勒斯特 RADAR Festival（首個亞洲媒體藝術團隊）；2026 年入選新加坡 i Light Singapore 與桃園地景藝術節，持續開拓國際版圖。

創作實踐遊走於科技與情感、數據與身體、虛擬與空間的交匯處，建構沉浸式、敘事且具人文溫度的科技藝術體驗。探討人之所以為人，不與技術對立，而是在與技術共處中，重新發現「能感受」的能力，證明人的情感、記憶與溫度不可被取代。

胡縉祥（フー・チンシャン）は、メディアアーティストであり、黒川インタラクティブメディアアート（Peppercorns Interactive Media Art）の創設者。人新世のポスト自然景観の中で、メディアテクノロジーを情報の媒体から知覚の探針へと転換し、光、データ、アルゴリズムで、記憶、感覚、そして人と人のつながりを描く。

コンセプト、チーム、テクノロジーを大規模な国際プロジェクトに統合し、空間構成、サウンド、クロスメディアビジュアルを組み合わせた独自の創造言語で、物語性のあるデジタル体験を構築している。

SIGGRAPH Asia最優秀XR技術賞およびオーディエンスチョイス賞（2019）、全国美術展ニューメディア部門金賞2回（2016、2021）、レッドドットデザイン賞、グッドデザイン賞、ゴールデンピンデザイン賞、ルーメン賞ショートリスト、MUSEデザイン賞、イタリアのアルテ・ラグーナ賞などに参加・受賞。2013年、オランダV2_メディア研究所の国際レジデンスに選出。

2016年に黒川インタラクティブメディアアートを設立し、チームを率いて大規模アートフェスティバル、パブリックアート、国際展覧会を手がける。2025年にはプラハのSignal Festivalメインステージに台湾チームとして初出演し、ブカレストのRADAR Festivalにアジア初のメディアアート集団として招待された。2026年にはシンガポールのi Light Singaporeと桃園ランドアートフェスティバルに選出され、国際的な活動域を広げ続けている。

創作は、テクノロジーと感情、データと身体、バーチャルと空間の交差点を行き来し、没入的で物語性があり、人間的な温もりのあるテクノロジーアート体験を構築する。テクノロジーと対立するのではなく、共存の中で「感じる力」を再発見し、人間の感情・記憶・温もりが代替不可能であることを証明しようとしている。
