The work begins from the concept of public participation, combining baseball, interactivity, and technology art, allowing audiences to connect with the Taipei Dome and other public artworks through "Impact." The upper body is a baseball composed of multiple laser-cut and assembled acrylic panels. Each slice, when illuminated, reveals engraved images of a batting swing in motion. When played in sequence, they animate like a film. The metal slices that secure the spherical acrylic structure evoke the form of stitching seams — or the fingers at the instant of a pitch — functioning both as structural supports for the acrylic panels and as mounting frameworks for the lighting fixtures. At their tips, pushable "omnidirectional ball bearings" invite the public to engage: pushing the Dome forward, pushing public art forward, and setting the lights ablaze so the batting animation plays out — an intuitive interactive light art installation. Below the main body, three baseball bats serve as supports, evoking a trophy, a torch, and the public itself — supporting baseball, supporting the Dome, and supporting Taiwan's sports culture.
